Reduced-protein content, comprising high-quality animal-based protein (hydrolysed salmon and chicken), which allows for optimal absorption of amino acids without overburdening the kidneys with nitrogenous waste products. Low in phosphorus (helps control the risk of secondary nutritional hyperparathyroidism) and sodium (helps prevent systemic hypertension). Salmon oil provides omega-3 fatty acids, which support anti-inflammatory processes and reduce blood pressure in the kidneys. Highly palatable, which is important for cats with a reduced appetite due to kidney failure.
