Orijen Fit & Trim gluten-free natural dog food for overweight dogs

Orijen Fit & Trim natural dog food is a complete and balanced diet that provides your pet with everything it needs at every stage of its life. It is a biologically appropriate food that nourishes dogs whilst taking their biological needs into account. The ingredients used by Orijen are fresh and locally sourced, coming from animals raised free-range by trusted farmers.

Orijen Fit & Trim has been formulated for overweight dogs that require a limited calorie intake to promote a healthy physique; its low fat and carbohydrate content helps the dog maintain a healthy weight, preventing obesity and diabetes. Its recipe contains 85% poultry, fish and whole eggs to provide a diet rich in high-quality protein that gives your dog all the energy it needs each day. It also includes a unique blend of fibre sourced from fruits and vegetables such as apples, courgettes and pumpkins. The 85 per cent meat, fish and eggs include chicken, turkey, herring, plaice, mackerel, hake and sardines.

Other pulses and vegetables used in the recipe include lentils, peas, chickpeas, carrots and spinach, as well as parsnips, pears, beetroot, kelp, blueberries and other berries. Two-thirds of the meat used by Orijen is fresh or raw, to provide the most essential nutrients, and one-third is dehydrated. It also incorporates organs and cartilage, such as fresh chicken and turkey hearts and livers, to eliminate the need for synthetic ingredients. The meat, fish and eggs come from free-range poultry, wild-caught fish and free-range hens.
