Ocular Matrix Defence is a 10 ml solution designed to moisturise the cornea and support its natural defence mechanisms. It may be helpful when the eye’s surface is subjected to contact lenses, environmental factors or recurrent episodes of irritation.

Matrix eye drops combine liposome-encapsulated lactoferrin with hyaluronic acid. Lactoferrin plays a part in the natural defence mechanisms of the eye’s secretions. The liposomes aid its distribution, whilst the hyaluronate provides moisture and lubrication.

Tilt your head back, pull down your lower eyelid and apply one drop without touching the eye with the nozzle. Blink several times to distribute the solution. Follow the frequency indicated on the packaging or by your healthcare professional, particularly if used following an eye procedure.

Close the bottle after each use and discard it three months after opening. Do not share it. These eye drops are not a substitute for medication prescribed to treat an infection. If you experience discharge, pain, photophobia or a rapid worsening of symptoms, seek an ophthalmological assessment.
