The CONTOUR XT blood glucose testing system is all about simplicity. You’ll find it very easy to
use the first time you see it.
Automatic:
You no longer need to worry about coding the meter or recording the control test result. The
CONTOUR XT meter is designed with Auto-Coding™ technology, so it codes itself automatically every time you insert a
test strip. It will even alert you if a test strip is not sufficiently filled.
Pre-set:
The CONTOUR XT meter is factory-set to the standard date and time for your convenience.
The meter is set to display results in mg/dL (milligrams of glucose per decilitre). In some countries
meters are set to display results in mmol/L (millimoles of glucose per litre); results in mg/dL never include a decimal point; results in mmol/L always include a decimal point.
